Just got Silver Thermal Grease, worth it?

I picked up a package of Silver Thermal Grease, and I was wondering if it could reduce my CPU temperature by at least 3 degrees C. I am going to apply the grease on the stock Intel Northwood Cooler.

Give it a try. Is it Arctic Silver brand, Antec brand or another type?
