Just got second tv hookup question

My dish network box is in the living room and i just got a second tv hooked up in my bedroom. With the dish box in the living room is there something i can buy for the bedroom that will allow me to hook up s-video cables or hdmi to get better picture?
 
I still believe you would have to have a compatible card of some sort? Might want to wait for the response of another Dish customer or call them up.

You'll need a multi-switch to run the satellite coax up to your room, get a second satellite receiver, and have it activated ($ to Dish), then your 2 tvs can watch different channels.

 
Which receiver do you have now ?

I'm guessing the vip722, since they connected both tv to it.
It has a dual tuner and can run as a single tv box with watch one channel, record another. Or as a two tv box with independent channels and recording.

If you have two remotes, one green at the bottom that is IR, and another that is blue at the bottom that is wireless, that is a 722 receiver.

It has the capability to send svideo ,component,hdmi to the main tv where the box is. If you run it in single mode then you have to watch the same thing on both tv but can run svideo, component, etc to a second tv. In dual tv mode you have to use a coax RF connection and composite+audio for the second tv.

If you want the best picture over the distance and keeping it in HDTV I would run a component cable + audio. It can run several hundred feet and not degrade.
