just got rear-ended

just got rear-ended by a college chick...looks like she was a sophmore or something....
(i love my car..and am super anal about it)

she says her dad works at a body shop...and dunno if i can trust her dad to do it...good job...not doing a crappy job...or like not enough layers of paint...etc.

top part of back is sore ..but i'm pretty fine...

what should i do....i didn't call the cops...just took down her info.....

No, you don't believe her. Or work the angle to get some poon plus insurance claim at a shop of your choice.

File a claim with her insurance. Get estimates, and don't let "daddy's" shop do the work.

you should have called the cops and gotten a report. if you trusted her and she called her insurance to file a claim then that would be fine but it doesnt sound like that is the case

I hope you took all her info... License plates, full name, copy of license and registration. Always have a disposable camera in your car.

called the cops once for a car accident. waited for 2 1/2 hours... they never showed up.
