Just got offered a 2nd round of interviews with Microsoft

Just got an offer for a second round of interviews with Microsoft in Redmond WA, has anyone else ever interviewed with them? If so, what should I expect?

expect a full day of interviews that include writing code on the whiteboard.

the question difficulty will be dependednt on the group that you interview with.

expect several developer questions and several test questions.

what's the pay like?

My resident assistant from my first year in college... graduated as a CIS major and went to go work for MS in Redmond, WA as a software testing enginner

anybody know how much he is currently making?

my educated guess would be high 50s probably between 57 and 59K as an STE depeneding on what school you go to it could be higher, higher ranked schools get better starting pay

thanks Ameesh. the interview e-mail said to expect to interview with 3-5 different people for about an hour each, i'm confident w/writing code so hopefully it goes okay. do you have any advice/suggestions?

lot of stress on algorithms i guess well atleast for SDE, maybe not for STE , i think microsoft stresses a lot on this whole 'thinking outside the box' mumbo jumbo, watever the hell that is
