Wow, this is totally whack. I came back from work and my dad asked me if I knew where Ameet (a friend of mine) worked. I told him he worked at JPMorgan near Wall St....but then I remembered where he lived!!! HE LIVES ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE WTC AND USES THE SUBWAY THERE EVERY MORNING!! Before I got sick, my dad told me he was okay! I then got on the phone with him (took me awhile!) and here's what his morning was like:

8:15am (Apartment): sh!t I'm late! need to get to that subway...

8:30am (WTC subway): damn, I left in such a hurry I didn't even take a dump! Must crap...

8:45am (WTC subway bathroom): *BOOM* WTF??? What the hell was that??? *BUILDING SHAKES* Holy shnikes Manhattan's having an Earthquake!!! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD I NEED TO GET ABOVE GROUND!!! <--does not wipe (I'm serious!!!)

8:51am (WTC subway/mall): Damn, look at all this mass confusion!! Need to run!!

9:06am (outside WTC in mall area): *BOOM* and debris starts falling

crap i gotta go eat I'll finish this later. Basically, he left before the towers started falling but he could see them as they fell from up around Walker Street.

He's a man, in case ya didn't figure...

Most subways don't have bathrooms, but the subway in the basement of world trade opened up into an underground mall and they had bathrooms there..

Glad to hear that your friend is ok, but I really didn't need to hear about the no-wiping part. :)

A quote from my friend who has a lot of contacts in the WTC:

friend from school works there.. he went out for coffee.. now all his coworkers are gone

It's just so sad.
