It looks pretty good on my new computer.
Using:
X1900XT
2GB DDR2 667
X2 3800+

I have AA on 4X (hate jaggies)
No HDR, but Bloom
and View Distance on 100%

but the grass in the distance looks terrible, it's realy dull and smudgy.
What settings could I change to fix this?

And are there any good graphical mods?

Nice specs :D
J/K.. :p

No HDR, but Bloom

Why's that? Is that your preference? You know you can use HDR+AA through ATI drivers and Chuck patch don't you?

You're REALLY missing out without using HDR. Download the Chuck patch so you can use it. You can probably turn the AA down to 2x as that looks pretty darn good if you use HDR, since HDR slows down the game a little, but makes it look SO much better!

Do the new Cat drivers have the Chuck patch built in? (haven't been keeping up with that :p)
OP, you need to have the Cat AI set to standard (right?), put on HDR in the game then force AA from the drivers. It looks really nice.

And I have to recommend OOO (oblivion overhaul)+OOO 1.31 patch.
And the Natural Environments Mod. People say it makes things too yellow, but I think it makes the HDR nicer. Just make sure that you choose EITHER the Bloom or the HDR one. Don't use both at the same time. (you can have both in the Oblivion folder, just don't activate both at the same time).

And you can activate all the others in the Natural Environments (there all independent of each other).

The Oblivion Texture Overhaul :)

Thanks for that link. Been playing Oblivion a lot and never saw that one :D

Gonna have to try some of those tomorrow.
I already have the LOD mods, and Quarls Texture Pack 2 (and knew about the nightsky one) but the others, I have never seen.

Just use in game HDR and force everything else on in the CCC.
