I have a gateway that has 128 PC100 Ram
should I add my crucial 256 cas2 133 now or wait till I build my computer(not too long)
I suppose it would help quite a bit wouldn't it?

hmm, i'm in the same position as you. i have a athlon 700mhz cpu in my box right now, and the 1 gig is sitting in front of me. i wonder what i should do? PUT IT IN !!!!! what's the point of keeping a good stick of memory from your computer?

Put it in at least to test it. It will only take a second, and then you can rest your weary mind of thoughts like "what if it's a bad chip and I sit on it past the 14 day return limit!"

You might as well use it its not going to wear out or get contaminated by your old system or anything 🙂

gzollinger1: He said it was Crucial PC133 Cas 2 ram. This negates
the option of failure.

(continuing with the sarcastic tone because i cannot tke question seriously...)

my p3 500mhz is sitting here with 640mb of ram (on win98se lol), 512mb of it coming from compuwiz... i dont have any other parts (except my case)... i can tell the difference between 128mb and 640mb, programs load way faster the second time, and counterstrike does too, etc etc.. just put it in!
