Send it back and buy the right product. Kinda annoying but certainly not the end of the world.

PowerQuest has annoyed me for several years now since they put the block into Partition Magic to keep it from running on PCs that have a Windows server OS installed to any partition.

Some other utilities like disk defraggers also market separate "workstation" and "server" versions.

It's annoying, but a fact of life. Most product lisings don't mention server blocks because 99.9% of their customers aren't buying the software to use it on a server.

I don't know what the retail box says, but I know what the website says. It says, specifically,
Windows 2000 Professional
That rules out the server version. Unfortunately, you may not be able to return opened software, many places will let you exchange for the same title only. Good luck.
