But I wasn't able to screw in the VGA connector. I was able to do it with the card while it wasn't hooked up and even that took abit. The VGA is connected right now but not screwed in which kinda worreis me a bit.

But damn what a bitch, I was there trying to screw it for 5 minutes and I got nowhere. Any of you have the same problems.
 
You should be fine, barring any natural disaster which will remove the cable from its perch on your PC....

I regularly just press them (VGA connectors) on.
