The system is amazing. great sound quality, tight base, nice package. right now I am running them from onboard audio. question is... will I notice a difference when I get my audigy 2 zs?

FOR THE LAST TIME! LOW NOTES = BASS NOT BASE!!!!! ::GOES CRAZY SCREAMING::

If you have them hooked up via analog you should notice a difference.

Most probably. Onboard generally sucks unless its a soundstorm.
Try your testing your onboard compared with the zs with some listening tests here -

Awesome speakers! I setup a Klipsch 4.2 system using 2x2.1 Star Wars Special Edition Promedia speakers and have been enjoying them for around three years now. Rock on!
