They're a blast... I ordered some last year to use for physics demonstrations (I teach physics as well as math)
Hints:
1. DO NOT forget that you have your wallet in your pocket containing your license, credit cards, etc. - you will erase the magnetic strips on everything, causing all sorts of hassles in stores.
2. Do NOT think it'd look cool if you faked a nose ring going through your septum (the thing in the middle of your nose) OUUUUUCHHHHHH!
3. #2 will work on your tongue... but it quickly becomes quite painful.
4. #2 will work on your ears - but don't let them snap together or you'll lose some blood. (as I did)
5. when carrying a pocketful of them, be aware of large metal object you're standing next to, unless you don't mind the embarassment of being stuck to a file cabinet.
6. If you put too strong of one too close to the computer monitor, you'll be degaussing for a LONG time before you eliminate the effects. It's not as simple as clicking it just once.
7. learn some magic tricks that are performed using those magnets... people never figure it out, because they can't fathom how strong a tiny little magnet can possibly be.
