My Antec SmartPower 400 burnt up about a week ago. I ordered a True380 from NewEgg to replace it and it arrived yesterday. And let me tell you, I am impressed with the supply.

1. It is quiet.
2. The cables are long.
3. SATA connectors!!
4. It is quiet.
5. Even in my fully loaded system my rails are rock steady and almost dead nuts on target.

It really is a high quality unit, I'd recommend one to anyone.

They make a TrueControl 380? I thought there was only the TrueControl 550.

Yes, you are right Tates, it's just a True380... :) But the supply is very nice nonetheless.

How does it compare to the SL400? I know it should be quieter and runs at 380 instead of 400, but are these differences noticeable? Would it be beneficial to spend the extra $10ish to get a less powerful supply?

Hey, I hope you get a kickback from Tagan because you've talked me into one for my next PSU

I believe that the voltage rails are rated to be more stable than the SL drives. There are other differences but damned if I can think of them right now. :p

How much are the Tru380 going for now? I always get a case when I need a PSU.

I bought a true380 from endpcnoise.com for $39.95 + shipping a month ago. These are brand new single fan models pulled from Sonata cases.

Awesome PSU, quiet too. Even has SATA power connectors

Mine came with 2 fans, one on the back where the 120V cable plugs in and one on the bottom over top of the CPU. I really did dig the SATA connectors on it. :)
