I've been in my current position for a little over 3 years now and it took another company buying us out to get my first review.

I got 42 out of a possible 45 points. I got an outstanding (highest rating) rating for 7/9 categories, an exceeds expectations for 1 and a meets expectations for the other.

A lot better than I would have expected or given myself.

Hopfully this means a raise will be coming soon.

Congrats. I think you can even be a little bit more forward on the raise.

Just ask the person that gave you an review something like "oh great, is more expected in order to get an raise?" So you don't have to keep hoping.. and also they are aware you want a promotion.

My first job had a 90 day review policy. My first review didn't come until after over a year. They said I was underperforming because I had not been there at 8am every day, even though they never told me I had to be in at 8am. They also complained that not all of my hours were billable to clients (they were an ISP / consulting company). Being my first job, I hadn't yet learned that blatant fraud in reported hours is the norm in the industry. The 8am thing would have been reasonable after 90 days, but it had been a year and no one had said anything the entire time!

no doubt. i'd expect a very, very poor review from ATOT members.

You will be receiving your pink slip tomorrow. You job is no longer part of the new corporate strategy.

That would honestly not surprise with this company. For all their talk about being transparent and stuff, they sure are pretty backhanded with some of things they do.
