Some people go their entire lives without leaving this country. It's sad really.

Correct. Estimated between 7% and 20% of the population. For comparison in Germany it's 90% and UK is 64%.

You know what's awesome? When you buy your ticket the day before you leave, they sometimes flagged you with special security (they stamp SSSS all over your ticket). The good thing is, you don't have to line up for 30mins to go through what all the other schleps have to go through the security. You go in a different line, stand in an airsealed booth, which blows air into you and tests it for chemicals and explosives. It took less than 5 mins, otherwise it would have taken 30mins in the regular line.

As one would guess...i have yet to leave the continent. Been to Canada and TJ, but that doesn't really count.

Going to spend 3 weeks this summer on a medical rotation in prague, then another two weeks making my way back to london before I fly back. Should be fun. All in all I plan to see Berlin, Vienna, Rome, Venice, Florence, London and Prague.

Haven't really had the opportunity to go anywhere and I figure if I don't do it this summer...I may not have a chance for at least another 3-4 years.

If you can, stop by in Switzerland. Soooo beautiful in the summer time. I love Switz/Germany...can't wait to go back.

Congrats.. now your goal should be to fill every visa page.

And yet I only get mine stamped about half the time.

I have been to DK 3 times yet they have never asked for my passport 🙁
