I just ordered a duron 700 from buy.com and all the L1 pins were connected. The week is week 24. I have not got my Abit board in yet, but do you guys think this will OC very well?

Since it is a week 24, don't expect too much. I would guess it would clock around 850-900MHz.

I'd be happy with 900..If your abit allows voltage adjustment which it most likely has you may get there with a good HSF. From what I read at
Overclockers data base it seems like a good cpu..thats why I bought one too...Mine cpu is AKAxxx23 , at the data base someone mentioned
a "blue" duron ?? My cpu is retail and blue around the center plate and is unlocked, anything special with this "blue" duron? Good luck with your cpu..I will have to do with my abit bx6 450a till after the holidays :-(
Then I'll get the Abit K7 raid and a AMD 300w PS.
Breeze :)

There is nothing special about your "blue" Duron since its not really blue. Well, it might look blue, but all Durons are made in the Austin fab using the aluminum connects.

i agree with the other guys..your duron will do 900..but not much more, try to be creative with the bus speeds and multiplier and you'll end up with some nice performance
