Welcome to 2006.

That said, I use a S-IPS and TN side by side, and while the IPS is better, I'm very pleased with the TN that I use as well. I'd have no problem using dual Asus TN panels instead of my S-IPS + TN setup.

hey alfa those look awesome. how would I go about setting those up? Please point me in the right direction! :D

Simple. Got two L shelf brakets. A small piece of wood and a few bulb sockets. Just hung the bulb sockets from the piece of wood. Ran all the wires to a dimmer on the wall.

Yeah well I needed lighting on top of my desk and I'm renting. Options were small. ;)

Indeed. I pity TN users who can't swing the pricey IPS panels. Whatever happened to that $199 AOC 23" IPS panel anyhow ??

It's not that bad. I run two, 1920x1200 24" HPs at work which are TN. I have them positioned on my desk in such a way that I don't notice any viewing angle problems. They aren't the nicest displays in the world, but resolution and screen size are more important to me than panel tech. That said, super accurate color reproduction isn't required for my job.

Let me put it this way, my employer bought me two of these 24" TNs for the cost of a single "good" 24" IPS and however better the IPS may be, they wouldn't have bought me two of them because of the price and the fact that my productivity would be hard to measure a difference with TN vs. IPS panels. :(

running a hp zr22w,the only issue with the zr is the matte on it is too grainy so I wouldn't recommend it if you work with Photoshop.

The good is you don't see the graininess in games.

The only difference I can see is that the color is a bit brighter with better contrast then my tn.
