Just got my car repainted.

Well I've been waiting a while but I finally got it done, about a week ago I got my 1970 Cadillac Sedan Deville painted. The interior has more or less been finished already (About 6 months ago). I love driving this car, you get looks everywhere from every age group, plus it is simply a joy to drive, even if it is a big block that sucks the (Premium) fuel back, it's worth it.

Darn, I always laugh to myself about the people who forget to post the car posts in the garage too, I feel ashamed... Mods, could you be so kind as to move this thread? Many thanks. 🙂

Nice car. The new paint looks good, much better then the -before- shot.

Now all it needs are some American Racing Torque Thrust wheels! 😉 ---oh--and some fuzzy dice.

I liked the rusty primer look better...I think you should drive it around with the doors ajar and the hood up like in the picture 😛

Wow, I like it. The fact that you got it painted instead of adding flashy rims means you got some taste.

Interior still look like crap??

13 mpg city, 18 highway, designed for leaded fuel so I run as high octane gas as I can get, usually I fill up with 94 and throw in a few bottles of octane booster.

You know, it's not the easiest to parallel park, but it isn't nearly as hard as people think to maneuver around. You can see all four corners easily due to the fins on the front and back, I actually find it easier to park than newer "egg shaped" cars where you have to guess where the edges are.

You're running some sort of lead replacement additive too, right? It's important to do so since lead is a lubricant and things like the valve seats depend upon the lead to prevent wear. If you've had the engine re-done and had the valve seats hardened you're OK, but otherwise you really ought to consider a lead replacement additive for the fuel.

It's a lovely car though, they just look undeniably classy. Especially in Tuxedo Black.
