Hi everyone, I just got my evga 6800gt, I downloaded the latest drivers from nvidia.
Everything is fine. Should I install the ADM stuff from the cd ??

Also what about the NVDVD player ? is it any good ?

Thanks for the response.

Regards,
Jose

You could just install the drivers and the card will function just fine. Not sure what ADM is or how good NVDVD player is though.

My Gainward, which I just got in to day, came with WinDVD 5, some Digital video editting software, and the driver/expertool CD. I just installed the Nvidia reference 61.77 drivers and Expertool 3.19 off Gainward's website. Seems to be working alright, although I've only run one loop of 3dm03.

What's ADM?

NVDVD is pretty good, but the OEM version they include is too gimped to make it worthwhile - all the capture tools are disabled - but as a basic player, it's OK. Try it, can't hurt.

ADM " advance driver management" = probably junk.

I too have an eVGA 6800 GT, and I wouldn't bother with ADM at all. I don't know why you would need "advanced driver management," considering that drivers aren't hard to manage at all. Probably just junk your computer up. And I'm curious to hear how your card overclocks. Don't know if you were planning on overclocking it or not, but if you decide to, lemme know what speeds you get. Mine will go at 400/1100 MHz using the auto-detect optimal frequency with Coolbits. Just curious to see how that compares to your GT.
