It is incredible... even on an analog connection (getting dvi capable card soon). No dead pixels or stuck ones as far as I can tell. I just need to stress that for the $560 that you can easily get these for with a little search for coupons they are well well well worth it.

12 grey white or something like that 16ms black white.

No ghosting in games, looks kinda cruddy though as the only game I have right now is half life, which has a resolution of like 1280x960 at best and this is 1680x1050.

Everything else is beautiful, the text is a little odd, but I heard that improves 10 fold with a DVI connection, and considering its hardly noticable now I'm sure it will be perfect later.

DVI will greatly improve your text, but the native resolution interests me hmmmm. 1680x1050? Guess if you have the right video card and software you can create customized resolutions for games. You have black bars on the sides or top when you play games? Either way you lucky 🙂

The monitor can scale the image to fit the entire screen so he does not have to look at bars..maybe a slightly distorted picture but probably not significantly distorted.

Congrats! If its anywhere near as nice as the 2001FP you did well!

Most newer games support this resolution either natively or via a few line changes in a config file.

I have the 2005FP as well. I notice no ghosting in games. There's also an option to do a 1X1 pixel mapping so if you run a 1280X1024 game, it only displays those pixels (no stretching). The brightness & color representation are exceptional. Even my wife mentioned it (and she could barely notice when we upgraded to HDTV)!
