I have court tomorrow. I have to take the day off work and wake up at 6AM. Ugh.

were you just a random target? that's some tough luck getting mugged on the way that you were carrying 1.5k in cash :s
 
huh, i never saw this, good to see the crooks were apprehended.

i was assaulted and carjacked about a month ago and it is still a nightmare of paperwork and insurance.

IMO never ever carry too much cash <$100 I would say. If you are buying a car spend the few bucks on a cashiers check or something where you are protected.
 
I haven't read past the OP, but if you're in college, do they have a law program? If so, you can usually get a student lawyer for free. Maybe they can help you get your money back from the cops? Any maybe some other good advice. They have their instructors helping! So don't turn down decent free legal advice if you have it available...
 
Alright... I they just sent me a subpoena for tomorrow. The last thing I went to was the pre-trial thing to determine if he had a court case. So, I need to go to court tomorrow. I gotta ask the DA what to do about getting my money back. The police are still holding it and now it's really pissing me off because I'm switching jobs and not gonna have money for a few weeks so I really need it. Hmm...

I'm 165 now. My target is 175, but some of what i gained was fat so I need to cut a tiny bit.
 
I just saw this now necine, and that sucks that some people didn't believe you. You sounded down as fvck in the first couple posts, so I'm glad to see you got this taken care of.

Things like this make me appreciate the fact that I don't live in bad neighborhoods/areas. Those that do, I commend you. :thumbsup: and a :beer:

Also, I agree with getting a gun. 😛
