I'm not sure what happened to the money either the cops stole it or the people that mugged me got it back. Problem was I kept driving up like 100 miles round trip. court and they didn't show up twice. For some reason they got 3 chances to show up. I missed the 3rd date because I had JUST gotten a new job and I couldn't go. I called and informed them that I couldn't make it and asked for them to postpone the date. They threw out the case because I didn't show. I'm done with courts, lawyers, and cops. I'll never entrust the safety of myself, my property or loved ones to police again. Fuck em. Fuck the money too.
 
That really sucks. Wow, there are some idiots in this thread. All that shit is definitely a pain in the ass... I'm sure it will all work out though. The important thing is you're alright, it could be a lot worse.

In reference to your car thread, I dislike the G6. I've driven the G6, the Sentra, Mazda3, Corolla, Focus and Lancer. I wasn't particularly impressed with the way the G6 drove. The others drove exceptionally well, but I found that the Mazda3 gave the best value. I was pleasantly impressed with the Focus (I previously, unfairly had a grudge against Ford without having driven any) although I would still choose a Lancer or Sentra before a Focus - but they are actually pretty nice. The Corolla is excellent quality and a nice ride but I don't find that it offers as much bang per buck as the others.

Too bad about your Lincoln, that is a sweet car too.

Thanks man... I actually bought a new honda civic last year. It's a pretty good car. I tried to test drive a mazda 3 but there were no sales people around. lol.

Yeah but the job I have is really good and I didn't want to start off poorly by taking off in my first week there. Plus, I was a temp at the time and my situation was precarious. However, I am now a full time employee and going to school nights so my situation has definitely improved. Thanks for everyone's kind words.
