Just got MS Standard Server 2003 w/ 5 CALs for $150. A MS employee said he needed a GMail account for work and was willing to trade an employee purchase price software package for an account.

He made $50 off of you. It's only $100. XP Pro is $30. All of their s/w is frickin' 1/10th the retail cost for employees :Q

My uncle got me (through a friend that works at MS) Win2k Pro for $25, Win98SE for $15, Office 2000 Premium for $90, AoE2 for $10 and a Sidewinder Flight stick for $25.

This was while Win2k and Office 2k were still new
