I'm really nervous about putting the HSF on the CPU... it just seems so delicate. Can anybody tell me how to avoid killing my processor?

when you put on the hsf, hook the side WITHOUT the ridge sticking up first. then push down the side with the ridge, using a flathead screwdriver. you have to push down REALLY hard. if it looks like it doesnt go out far enough (if it cant hook over other clip-dealie), then you should push out a little bit with the screwdriver too. just dont let the screwdriver slip out and break teh mobo!

Good Luck :D

EDIT: yes do what gopunk said, i did it, just be careful not to do it too much

Uh, unless I missed something, putting on the HSF on the CPU is dependent on the specific CPU socket and HSF. Definitely find a site specific to your setup.
