So, naturally I thought I'd share the news on Anandtech. We haven't set a date yet for the wedding, but it's probably not going to be for a while. I have pics, but I don't want to put any up, sorry. Don't know how the future Mrs. would react to that.

Any advice for a young couple from the wise members of Anandtech Formus?

Congratulations!! :D

She'd probably get a kick out of all the responses her pic would get. :)

Congrats on engagement! Now comes the hardest part, delaying the wedding for as looooooong as possible :p

Not so sure about that; Mrs AnyMal and I tried it the other day; my damn nipples still hurt like hell!

Congratulations! I've been engaged since March 2001, and we're getting married Dec 7th of this year. If you have any questions about wedding planning, feel free to email me. Let me warn you, you have a rollercoaster ride ahead. Before we started planning, I knew about 10% of what goes into planning a wedding. There are details upon details that you haven't even thought about. And you need to get started AT LEAST 12 months before the date. We waited, and no halls or vendors were available, so we had to push out until Dec. Their schedules fill up early. Good luck, and again, feel free to email any questions.

Start brainstorming/planning for the wedding now, so you won't miss a single detail, definitely start budgeting and saving up $$$ now and most of all savour and enjoy every moment.

Well, thanks for all the advice. As for planning the wedding, I used to work as a banquet waiter and have probably served at about 50 different weddings, so I know the score when it comes to that part. We're pretty much going to be dirt poor when this starts, but she doesn't seem to mind since her parents were in the same boat when they got married.

Thanks Rob9874, I'll keep that offer in mind when I find out I don't know what the hell I'm doing.
