Just Got DSL!

Hello:

I just signed up with Sprint/Earthlink and received my DSL modem from them. It looks different than the one my friend got when he first signed up and I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the quality of the modem?

This is the modem: Zyxel 642M and I will be using a LinkSys 4port Router with it.

Also, on my billing slip that came with the modem it says it is an "S. S. I." item... what does that mean?
