Just got done playing Quake 4 online

All I can say is...they just keep making crappier sequals.

You run around, and hope you get the rocket launcher. Thats pretty much all multiplayer has to offer.

Theres nothing special or unique about the game..and it doesnt even look THAT good...

Im going to get FEAR tomorrow, hope its better than this...

Its not hard to be better than doom 3's single player. That game was friggin horrible.

I have played both Q4 and FEAR online today and Q4 is like a spiffier version of Doom3. I gotta figure out how to cycle the weapons and use grenades, etc. I could get into this game.

One of the things I don't like about FEAR is that you must activate your healthpacks instead of just picking them up... I am too used to a Quake style DM where you just run and gun... but you can carry a bunch of them so that a positive I guess.

I gotta work on my settings/controls to have a chance at winning a deathmatch in either game... a new videocard probably wouldn't hurt either.

I am looking forward to COD2 the most... I still play COD almost every day online and really liked the looks of that COD2 demo. :beer:
