Just got booted off of CS server for "cheating..."

Even though my score was 150 to 80, I was "cheating" according to at least 12 of the players . I don't mind being accused, since that just proves how good of a player I am . But being kicked! The weird thing is, I played with 2 admins who never once accused me. I guess they just got tired of me taking out their entire team by myself (did this 4 times)

When you get halfway good then you have to have regular pubs you go to with people you know so you wont get booted. I get booted out of every nub pub i go into. Try the 3d pub or mo_sh pub or anyother pub where good people play, its just no fun beating up on nubs anymore...

I've been kicked for "cheating" from a bunch of servers. Once your KR goes above 2:1 or 3:1, people who don't know you get suspicious. Just find a few servers you like and play there. Once people there get to know you, they won't accuse you. I recall one time getting kicked 'cause I got off to a good start (30 kills or so and 1 death). I can't help it if the other team just sits there waiting to be shot

I like the update to RtCW. It adds a cheater filter. Some servers will ask you to have this filter running when you join. Now, no more boots on the accusation of cheating.



What is this "CS" you speak of?

Can be even worse in Day of Defeat. On maps where you get 5 points for capturing a flag, a 4:1 is easily within reach for a good player.

Da noobs don't like to see someone with a 200 / 40 score - especially when they have 17 / 30...

Yeah, flag caps are usually how I get a lot of my points in DOD. I love the realism of the game, but at the same time I don't like sitting around forever playing it ultra safe trying not to get killed just for the sake of keeping my kill/death ratio looking good. Usually at the end of the game, I'm among the top point getters on my team, but my ratios are nowhere near as good looking. I really don't care though. While they're spending all that time being stealthy, I'm out there running suicide missions into open areas filled with crossfire capturing a critical point for our team. People who only care about their kill/death ratio sometimes make fun of me at first, but after a few games when I'm usually on the winning team with a ton of points, all but the snobiest who don't understand the 'team' concept tend to shut up. I love that game.

It sucks when theres a stupid fvck of an admin who can't stand that something is doing better than him.. I got banned in January from all the HomeLan servers for going something like 43-7 or something.. the server was filled with n00bs, including the admin.. I'm still banned and probably won't be unbanned ever. :|

I went 11-1 with TMP (yes, TMP) in de_prodigy ... Ts were complete, utter n00bs.
Vote kick luckily failed. I promptly dropped to 12/4 when the teams evened out. 0wn3d.

Then in cs_office, I connected, joined mid-round, and left to get food. Coming back, I had a USP, 36 rounds, and no armour. Crap.
Silencer ... torso torso headshot, grab AWP, take potshot, kill guy coming around corner with my USP, kill sniper with AWP, run down hallway under office, knife to the head from pure twitch instinct, AWP kill, round over. Counter-terrorists win.

i quit b/c of too many of them, not saying all good players are cheaters but all the 10-16 yr old noobs were getting out of hand. :frown:

Are you sure you didn't get kicked for being the guy who totally sucks, but ends up on the winning team by chance and then types "OWNED" repeatedly at the end of each round despite not having personally had anything to do with the outcome? Those guys bug me.

150-80 isnt even a 2:1 ratio. By no means would I consider that cheating. Back when I still played, I used to get 4:1 and 5:1s all the time. I quit playing CS cuz of all the 12 yr old admins who would cry HACKER when they got punked. LIL BISHES.

I got 40 - 19 yesterday. I play on that server a lot so i dont get kicked. There was the usual "kamikazi you hacker! and "stop cheating ******", from the noobs, but that dont bother me.

It's a pretty decent server. I tool on people most of the time on other servers, but I can get a good ass kicking on this one on occasion.

The TSO server has some VERY good players. 64.81.178.3
It's usually full though.

I heard that the OneManRiot server was 1337, but I can't seem to find it (heard it was taken down or something).

Dang, I'd love a score like that. It's a positive ratio.
2 yrs of CS, and I'm lucky to break a 1:3 kill : death ratio.
As for your incident, either those people are REALLY bad at it and have never seen how CS is played, or else you're one of the worst cheaters ever.
