Just got back from the track...

'98 Corolla w/intake/exhaust/suspension <-- beat a 94-98 V6 Mustang..and lost to everything else. My r/t got much better as the night went on (first time out..)..best was .130...'best' redlight run was -0.005 (SO CLOSE..argh)..

So..anyways, that's what I've been doing for the last few hours. Just thought I'd share 🙂

I had it down to .130..and -0.005, but I guess that doesn't really count.

Those are some horrible 60' times...practice a better launch, and you should be able to run a bit faster. It's funny seeing a Mustang have a slower time than alot of Civics.

My tires suck. They're rated for 65,000 miles, and don't grab at all.

Edit: Almost everyone else I ran against ran a ~2.5 60ft..the only one that ran 2 flat (2.045) was an older (pre-94) Mustang 5.0. An SRT4 ran 2.276 and 2.2451..everyone else was 2.5 or higher.

I know the pain of sucky tires. Last time I was at the track my tires wouldn't grip at all. Spun them all the way down the track.
