Just got back from the shooting range.

Awsome I can't wait to get back to the range, I need to pick up a scope for my beowulf. Gonna hit up bass proshops again today probally.... I purchased abut $800 worth of parts for my .50 beowulf and need to get all those on before I go....

Yes Sir, it is. I am impressed at the lack of recoil, the concussion and the accuracy of teh gun. All around it is worth the money every time the trigger is pulled.

Indoor range. Why would a range ban 9mm? It has higher muzzle velocity than say a .45 but it's a much smaller caliber. Do they allow .357 Magnum? Almost the same caliber but much more powerful.

If you want to dissuade certain behavior you should go after the behavior not the caliber associated with it.

In an ideal world, yes. However, I get the impression here that banning the 9mm had the desired effect.

I've never shot a gun in my life, but it sounds like target shooting would be fun. I've always wondered how good a shot I'd be.

jules, where do you go? i usually go to the oceanside range off the 76 but its been awhile since ive been and ive been hearing rumors about them changing things up or closing it down because residents nearby are complaining about the noise. go figure since the oceanside police station is right across the street, but if it goes in front of the city and things change im going to have to find a new spot. tyia.

Your local gun store. Just bring lots of $$$$. The DE alone will set you back over $1200.

When I was back home for the holidays and went shooting for the first time in nearly two years. We brought about a half dozen pistols down to the local range and killed some bull's eyes for nearly 2hrs. My dad had a new H&K USP Compact .40 S&W that I just absolutely fell in love with. It took me a couple of dozen rounds to feel it out but after that it was just sweet, sweet target shooting goodness.
