Just got back from the Philippines and Hong Kong w/ Pics!

I've been gone for over 10 days on the best vacation! It was an awesome experience to be able to stay with my stepmom's family in the philippines. We stayed on the island of Panay (south of Luzon) on a small farm/ranch house in the town of Aklan.

It was really neat seeing how simple their lifestyle is... yet how happy they live. Her family is one of the nicest group of people that i've met. We left that island and stayed at the Sand Castle hotel in Boracay for 2 nights. The island had the cleanest water with white sandy beaches. It was truly a site to see!

We stayed 7 days in the philippines and then 3 nights at the Miramar hotel in Hong Kong. I'll post more pics as i upload them!

Nice. Glad you had fun. Where are the HK pics ? I expect to see crowded streets and numerous signs hanging from above apartments in a shopping district. Got many of those myself. ;)

Glad you had fun... we're going there this summer... :) but i don't think we're going to the nice places you went to... :(

Heh. My buddy just got back from the Philippines and he too went to Boracay. He's from the Philippines tho so he has family and friends there.

i haven't been there since 99
boracay has the most beautiful beaches in the world, and the best diving too

where did you stay?
on my honeymoon, we stayed in a little private hut right on the beach
