Just got back from Sin City

All I can say is: why didn't I read the comic? (was there one, lol?)

Also, thank god this movie was in black and white (although it got to me) becase of the amount of blood in there!

It drew on three different story arcs from the comic books.

The Hard Goodbye (The Marv story arc)

The Big Fat Kill (Ninja hookers with machineguns)

That Yellow Bastard (Bruce Willis robs the cradle while Elijah Wood takes up cannibalism)

I am going from memory, but I believe that is the basic breakdown. To get picky, I believe the part with the blonde that met her untimely end was from A Dame To Kill For. Technically a fourth arc, but with only a tiny portion shown. I am wondering if they plan to spin a prequel off from that point.

EDIT: Just confirmed by that site.

The upcoming Frank Miller's Sin City motion-picture will be based on three Sin City titles: Sin City: The Hard Goodbye; Sin City: The Big Fat Kill; and Sin City: That Yellow Bastard.

Rodriguez had to leave the DGA (directors' guild of america) because they don't allow co-directors on movies and he wanted to give full credit to frank miller because he shot it exactly like it was drawn...

What were the cars in the movies? They were pretty cool: Porsche 550 Spyder was the only one I recognised, though I might be wrong.
