Most instructors will say 6-10 classes before you start to really show progress AFAIK. I'm definitely feeling it in my lower abs and hip flexors today.

Pilates has somewhat less emphasis on flexibility and more emphasis on resistance training. You actually do stuff using machines for resistance rather than your own body weight.Originally posted by: iamme
