Best nick cage movie this side of Raising Arizona

I think Adaptation was 100x better than Matchstick Men.

The ending was kind of predictable, too.

well i don't think it was that predictable. i did catch some stuff though.
his partner calls from an unmoving car to rush up the scam schedule but still loses reception?
his partner pokes his head out the car and smiles after the scam on the airport roof when they part ways.
should be more, i guess i didn't catch em.

well I 'saw' it coming because we never saw her mother. She never went inside of the house. It never showed her really entering/approaching it. The 'conversation' on the phone with the mom in front of Cage also sounded so fake. Nicholas Cage also mentions with his 'daughter' something along the lines of 'if you're scamming someone, make sure that you're not being scammed'. When Cage added his daughter to his bank deposit box, I was just thinking "What a freaking idiot!' Later on when Sam Rockwell's character is tied up he says 'sorry' so I again thought that they were trying to scam him. Maybe I was just lucky in predicting it...

Yeah... all of that could be explained away though. The fact that the guy was able to find Frank when he only had Ashley and Roy's info had me wondering though. I just passed it off as a plot hole. As it turned out, obviously it wasn't.

I thought it was a great movie... The ending pissed me off though. I was really annoyed. I dunno, I guess I just got too emotionally involved with the characters.

She was kind of annoying with the constant crying. I thought Nicholas Cage did a pretty darn good job.
