Well, the judge was pretty cool in my case. I got pictures, and papers that I showed the judge. And I got All 3 tickets dismiss except Recon, Which i had to pay 50 dollars for.

Not bad. But the judge said not to get any more. :( I wonder how i will do that.

Again, tickets were for,

No Insurnace,
No Safety Check,
Blue Lights,
No Recon.

Now i can save money again, and buy computer parts. FOr Sale/Trade Forum, here i come. :D

Recon is a thing in hawaii where modifications done to your car are safe to drive in the road ways. This law was really made for 4x4's and Low Riders.

How did i get out of those tickets?

No Safety Check: Got Safety check and showed them my papers showing i got it.

Blue LIghts: Got before and after pictures showing i took them out, and bought the blue lights to court.

No Insurnace: I had insurance at the time, but i didn't have my card. so i got an affidavid showing i did, and got out of that ticket.

No Recon: since i was a repeat offender, i pleaded gulty and decided to pay the fines.

Oh well. another day in the life of a teen with a rice car. :D

Cya.

It depends on the bulb. If its a super white, i think those are fine, but the blue ones that have a rainbow effect are not legal.

I had the blue ones that are super white, but it looked blue to the cop. I had the rainbow ones in my high beams, and they looked cool for a while, but took them out.

Oh well. thanks everyone for the support.

My friend got a ticket for having blue headlights too... In California though. Weird thing is though that some cars come with blue headlights, I know that some porches do.

the crap you buy in stores that are "blue lights" compared to the HID (High Intensity Discharge) lamps you get in high end luxury cars like Porsche, Mercedes, BMW, Jag etc are a totally different type of light than the "blue" lights you put in your cars. If you want the "blue" lights that the porsche has in your car, be prepaired to pay 1,200 bucks for em, EACH.
