3000+ people from my town showed up, there was a giant flag hanging from the ladders on a couple fire trucks. First we recited the pledge of alligence then the Mayor spoke, a very nice speech about the state of the nation and remembering the victims. The co-pilot on the plane that went down in PA lived in my town
They prayed a couple times, some pretty much nondenominational prayer, something that could apply to anyone Jewish or Christian, or even Islam asking for peace for the victims. We all lit candles and held them up and sang God Bless America and the national anthem. It was so touching to see so many people out and see that they cared about out nation. It touched my heart. Anyone else go to an event like this tonight?
