Hmm went in for an interview today, it wasn't really something i wanted to do but i felt it gave me the opportunity to move up the chain quickly...i was told that because of my lack of experience but my excellent personality (wtf? :)) they were on the fence...then they asked me some technical questions, and i didn't know some of the easy ones...the harder ones were no problem. Argh. I hate going in there thinking the job's all mine and then getting punched in the nuts.

Today's gonna be a crappy day.

Don't feel bad. I went on an interview and messed up the technical questions. I was very nervous. They hand me a list of terms and wanted me to define them. They were basic terms like TCP/IP, AGP, IDE, DNS, DHCP, etc.

I completely forgot to answer DHCP, froze up and bombed the interview. You could call me any day of the week and I could lecture on them, but in the middle of an interview with 6 people staring and taking notes I froze like in front of them naked.

Needless to say I didn't get that job. Ironic though. The next job I interviewed for, I went in angry, arrogant and felt I was above and overqualified for the position. They end the interview asking when I can start.

What were some of those technical questions?

how do you format a floppy...that one had me stumped! :)

Quick Answer: right-click on icon, select "Format" :D

you should've asked them if you could use a lifeline - "Call a friend"
