First time out in the new car, fantastic weather today sunny and low 60s

So much more torque and HP than my old car, now most cars can't pass me between 5 and 6 going uphill at WOT :) haha

at 11MPG I use 1/4 tank of gas every 20 mins (1 session)

Very impressive car on an infamous track; you sir are one very lucky person!

Any track times to share?
Curious what you spend more on: Gas, Tires or Brakes after your track day ?

didn't have a lap timer, and i'll be the first to admit the the car is capable of much more than I am. dynamically the car is much better on the track than I expected coming from a mid-engined boxster and the traction is just tremendous coming out of turns!

I'd guess that the tires are the most expensive thing now that gas is down to $2.70/gal premium and I do my own rotors and pads

the jelly is real. that's awesome!

thanks! don't have the stones to ride a motorcycle even tho I got my M1 a while back, so the track will have to do for me :)

I'd like to run Laguna Seca but the crazy low volume limits for normal days and the distance kill it for me.

yea 90db is really low, my car stock is ~95db. just lift a little or don't track out all the way to the right coming out of 5

What? No corkscrew shots? I am dissapoint. :colbert:

lol i didn't buy the photos and never think the corkscrew photos come out that well, but ask and you shall recieve. that red car peaking in the background is a prepped 458 which is scary fast, anytime I saw it I just pointed it by and didn't lift at all

Tell us what options you got on the 911 and why

i bought it CPO so didn't spec it but knew what was a deal breaker for me

Carrera S (moar torque, many options standard that are extra cost on the base)
7MT (7MT > PDK in terms of driver engagement)
PASM (active suspension)
PTV (torque vectoring + LSD)
Sport exhaust (b/c i like pushing a button and making it louder at will)
Full leather interior (actually feels like you are in a 100K+ car)
Sports chrono (sport+ mode and dynamic engine mounts)
PDCC (active anti roll system so it corners really flat and better tire patch contact, probably would not have specced)

I had a good time last time I went to Laguna Seca. I agree on the corkscrew not looking very impressive, even through an action camera. I ended up buying the photos for the one of my car going through the big sign on the front straight saying Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

I had a great time this weekend! Knocked 5 seconds off my previous personal best at MRLS. One of my favorite tracks from a layout perspective. Definitely not the safest track, though. We had an ambulance deploy for one unlucky guy. Also, they have easily the worst food of any track in Northern California. :)
