Im on the quiz team at my HS and we just got finished, we got 4th out of 8 of the local area schools and i got a scholorship to go to the local junior college and be on their quiz team because i answered the most correct over all, but my team still failed. here were some of the questions

What band was Gene Simmons associated?

What band was Jimmy Page associated?

What band was Ian Anderson associated?

the round where questions like that were asked, i raped the other school 180 to 0. I love it when the people making the questions have good taste in music. :)

I did quiz bowl back when I was in HS. Went to nationals but didn't do so hot there.

wait wait wait - you can get a scholarship because you knew the most rock trivia? Nothing important like math or geography, just who some musicians were?

Excellent education system you've got there...

"Who is 'Eric Clapton', Alex".
"Correct for a B.A. degree. Would you like to go for a Masters?"
