Well...it wasn't really work, it was actually my school's New Hampshire YMCA Youth and Government program. It's a lot of fun. We get to make our own bills, and then take different roles from the 3 different branches. This is my first year doing it, so I just took the basic position as a Representative (It's what you atuomatically get into if you don't run for anything else.) Next year Ill probably run for senator, since I will get more debate since there will be like a 1/4 of the people. Today was just the "training" for the real 2 day thing at the capital. A few weeks from now, we go back, and spend two days making laws! Politics is fun!

lol, YMCA youth and propaganda camp.

they should make is realistic, only the rich kids in the class can run for office, or the ones who get into the pocket of big business. Then you can have some other kids wine and dine you to get bills passed.

Not, fortunately that's not the case. Although that would be like the real world. But there are definitely rich kids there with $1000 jackets...but there as atleast as many kids who has old warn out button down shirts. And everyone has an equal. This is mostly because campaigning isn't really necessary.Candidates for office just give a speach...or for speaker of the house, candidates show their skills as we go through a bill, and then we vote.
