Just got an iPod Nano how long should I charge it for it to be fully charged?

i just bought an iPod Nano 2G 2GB and I was wondering how long I should charge it for a full charge? Also whenever its done charging will it stop charging or do I have to take it off my computer to stop charging?

I wish....The only thing included with this was the cable, the ipod, and a little piece of paper that says how to go to songs and stuff on the iPod. Doesnt say anything about charging it

it will stop charging on its own

edit: and the battery icon will stop flashing and remain at full charge. it might say charge complete or something along these lines
