Seems nice. But I don't think it was worth the price I paid for it. Think I'm going to take it back and get a 10 giger straight from apple via educational discount. Do you guys know anything about the new small 4 gig ipods?

if you bought it from apple better not open it or else you'll hafta pay 15% return fee.

Also remember that apple charges tax, my 10G was $281 shipped free (overnight!) that i recieved the first day the 3rd gens where released

i don't have enough music to get an ipod, i didn't know they had a 4 giger i'll have to look into that. I probably wont buy one until they do more than just play music (when they lean toward a pocket pc, etc)

If you return it, return it for cash, then wait until Mac World San Francisco. There are rumors smaller one's may be released there, and the rest may get price cuts.

Oh, I completely agree, but if he doesn't need the extra space, it may not be worth it to him. I personally have a 40 GB iPod, and whatever space isn't being used for music is being used as an external HDD.

From macrumors.com: MacWorld San Francisco 2004 kicks off on January 6th, 2004 with Steve Jobs giving the Keynote Address.

I have the 20GB iPod. I use about 16GB for tunes...I use 2GB for a place to store my digital pics when I am traveling.

Main page of Yahoo just announced that Apple will not be debuting a new ipod. Stick with the old ones, they rock anyways!

But its just as much speculation as the people guessing they will. Apple is as tight lipped as usual
