Just got an e1505, what should I download for the core duo?

Hmm, I don't see why it wouldn't, it has a PCMCIA slot, so it should work. Perhaps you're mistaken with the fact that they now have a software version of SoundBlaster and not an actual onboard chip (when you buy directly from Dell that is)?

Changing wireless cards shouldn't be too much of an issue, you'll still have to open it up, but it should be easier to change than the CPU, although not as easy as RAM.
 
It will not work, the e1505 has a newer ExpressCard slot, not a PCMCIA slot. You'd have to use the Audigy 2 NX, a USB-based sound card.

Yeah I was afraid of that, the NX seems to be expensive though 🙁
