I somehow got a big nail in my very expensive 255/40 18s. So instead of paying for a new one I just had it patched... I am not sure exacly how they patched it, but does anyone know if this tyre is still good for highspeed use? I am very worried about it.

No, it is not. BUT, I doubt you ever get close to your tires limitations.

It will be a 'hot spot' where the patch is at very high speed and could fail.
For 99% of us it would be no worry......and the other 1% doesn't need to be driving on public roads!

I routinly cruise at around or over 100mph... also I do the occasional track day, but this tyre will probaly wear out before my next.

Haha. No. I have a can of stuff you spray into the "tire"
