just got a sigma 10-20mm EX DC HSM f4-5.6

just picked one of these up the other day

was umming and ahhhhing for a while because some one was also selling a canon 70-300mm USM f4-5.6 IS on ebay for £250 (which is nice price) and was considering taking the plunge...but then figured id get more use out of the wide sigma.

weathers been ultra poo, and apart from some shots of me pulling faces at the camera i havent got many interesting pictures yet, which isnt helped by the fact that i left my tripod in lougborough over christmas instead of packing it in my car! (which i thought i had)

so heres some shots of our new car for you.... just to test out the lens

Man...that 10mm is nice for closeup car shots isn't it?

I'd like to get a few more lenses - Canon 10-22mm and 17-55mm IS. But I need to get a 40D first.

yeah it is, i was right up close to the front bumper for those shots

40D is where i wanna head next as well, not for a while though, the 400D will more than do me for another year. battery grip is next on the list though, this sigma almost weighs as much as the camera body and its starting to get a bit heavy for the small grip on this camera.

Hey oits...I don't know what kinda dealer sold you that car, but they jacked it all up - the steering wheel is all on the wrong side and everything.

my focus only has little wheels so it looks like its on stilts lol!
