Just got a second LCD monitor... how can I tweak it to look uniform with my current LCD in a dual display?

My main display is a Dell 2007fpw. A friend of mine just upgraded his entire setup and gave me his 17 inch Samsung 730b monitor for helping him out. Well right now I'm running both monitors but the colors look so much different, it's really bothering me. The Samsung is very washed out and the same image on both screens just doesnt look the same. Can anyone recommend any tweaking methods for at least improving the situation?

Your bound to have differences if the moniotrs arn't the same.

Can you change the gamma and digital vibrance of each monitor serperatly?

Buy a colorimeter. Or suggest one for your "rich friend" to use on his new display(s), then borrow his.

Easily some of the best money I've ever spent on tech stuff ($200 ish).
