Hey guys. I just was delivered a Dual 1.2GHz Athlon rig, but it came with only an IDE drive. I want to make use of the SCSI so I got a deal on the Seagate 15K rpm drive, but I need a SCSI cable. Problem is I do not know if I need one with a terminator, which one etc. I am a newbie in the world of SCSI. The drive will be the only device attached for now but I may get another if I can get another new one for $200 again.
Thx

Ultra2 and Ultra160 drives need a terminated LVD cable. MWave has them for $38.

you'll need an lvd cable with a terminator for the end of the cable! :)
the drive is delivered with id set as 0.
