The rheobus works fine, from sunbeam, but it wasnt the one advertised on the site, the one on the box, or even the one in the instruction sheets it came with. Instead it has 4 small power connectors on the back (like fan headers on a mobo), instead of the spring clip type (like on the back of stereos). So without hacking and splicing I cant get my fans hooked up properly (plus I wanted to hook a CCFL to it, and would have to find some extra fan lying around I dont need to hack the plug off of it)

Anyone have any suggestions on what to do? I emailed them and bitched but SVC doesnt always listen too well. I dont suppose anywhere sells a "small plug to spring clip" converter do they =)

thanks

Ya these are not like the usual rheobus's. You can hopefully pick up some 3pin extenstions at a local computer shop.

or...SVC sells them for .99 cents each.

I noticed this too. If you blow up the pictures on SVC, it actually does show the 3-pin headers instead of the spring/screw headers for tailed fans. This makes it harder to extend the length of fans, but also only allows 1 fan per channel (w/out splicing elsewhere). I thought at first the only difference was the cheesy decals on the front, but it looks like there are other changes as well....
