Just got a question about my domain

Ok, so I got the free hosting from 1and1.com. And I registered my domain at namecheap.com (baldassari.org). I went in an changed the Nameservers to the ones that 1and1.com gave me, but 1and1 still tells me that "No 1&1 name servers set yet". How long does this process normally take? It has been about 12 hours, not sure if I didnt do something, or something is wrong, or what...

Anyways, any help would be great. Thanks.

I believe this process can take up to 48 hours. Give it some more time

Where did you 'change' to the nameservers 1and1 provided? If you just went to your registrar nd told it to use ns1.blah.blah, ns2.blah.blah, etc, then the 1and1 system probably doesn't even know about it. I have a 1and1 account, but I have yet to try using it (horribly slow admin interface) You would have to 'tell' 1and1's system that you have tht domain to use, otherwise itll just keep on chugging along with that s1232352345345.onlinehome.us crap that it comes with.

Edit: Of course is you have already done that part, then as someone else already mentioned, it can take up to a few days to propagate. Judging by the statement that 1and1 still doesn't recognize it tho, I don't think that is the case.
