well i just got a sony 51" widescreen projection tv. hooked it up with analog cable and it looks grainy:D,so i am getting digital cable maybe tomorrow from TW (don't mention about DirecTV), just want to ask if (51") means screen size or height cause my screen is not 51" but 46"?

Also i have a DVI output but the Tv is not PC compatible, can i still hook up to PC in someway?

Finally i was told that i would need a better cable for connecting the DVD+VHS player so the image can comeout clearer on this TV?

thanks in advance

So you think the salesmen gypped you on the TV?

Yes, if you use good S-Video or component cables, you can see an improvement in visual quality. How much, is hard to say.

Did you get the KP-51WS510? I got mine about six months ago, and I absolutely love it.

At any rate... All TV "sizes" are the screen size measured diagonally.

If your DVD player supports Progressive Scan, then you need component cables for the best visual quality.

An S-Video cable is the best your VCR can do.

Ask TW about HDTV service. You'll love it.

The DVI output is PC compatible, as long as you use a HDTV resolution. You can use powerstrip to do that. I'd suggest 1080i.

For your DVD player, use component.

It's probably an extra $5/month... But yeah, it's worth it.
