Should I sell it on ebay and buy a 6800GT or X800 Pro? Right now I'm using a 9800 Pro, so just wondering what you guys think I should do.
 
a 6800 should do very well, you will see much better performance with it than with your 9800pro.
i would stick with it, it should do well enough, even at the 16*12 native res of your 2001fp

You aren't giving us any information to use in making your decision for you.

Do you demand "the best" for bragging rights? Then sell it.
Do you have no budget constraints? Then sell it.
Do you demand 1600x1200 in all games? Then sell it.

Do the benchmarks on the main AT site and at HardOCP.com show the regular 6800 will perform up to your definition of acceptable? Then keep it.
